Krasnodar, 24 November. Last week, Deputy Governor Igor Galas reportedly chaired over a conference dedicated to the development of the Krasnodar urban agglomeration.
A peculiar attention of the participants was paid to projects aimed at socio-economic coherence of the city’s constituent parts.
Mr. Galas noted that this year the municipalities of the agglomeration had been developing documents of strategic planning.
By now, the Strategy of socio-economic development of Goriachy Kluch has been approved; the development strategies of Dinskoi and Seversky rayons are being developed or are in the approval process.
Big hopes are being pinned on further advancement of the Krasnodar agglomeration – it is on the list of the country’s most promising centres of economic growth, according to Russia’s Strategy of Spatial Development, but there are a number of growth-constraining items in the region too.
“Currently we consider the challenges of engineering, power and social infrastructures as our key issue. To resolve it, it will be important to realize the mechanisms of private-public partnership,” Vice Governor explained.
