Krasnodar, 18 November. Since the beginning of this month, the courts of the Krasnodar region have filed nearly 400 administrative cases related with violations of the heightened alert regime. About 200 cases have already been considered. Over eighty defendants got warnings; penalties were awarded to about 120 legal entities and natural persons.
Severe control over the observance of the requirements aimed at prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection is becoming the main tool to fight the pandemic in the region. Speaking at a meeting of the regional crisis centre, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev stated that it has become critically important to control the observance of all constraints.
The number of inspections of the face mask regime at public catering establishments has also grown, but mostly in the big cities. Mr. Kondratiev demanded that this work should be intensified in smaller towns and villages.
Earlier, only natural persons could be held liable for the nonobservance of the constraints. Now the companies have become obliged to see if their staff and visitors wear face masks while staying in public catering establishments.
