Krasnodar, 18 November. The so-called ‘winter beaches’ are appearing in year-round resorts of Krasnodar krai. They have already opened in Anapa and Sochi. After the summer season, the beaches there were equipped with benches, viewing shelters and wooden decks.
Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev has backed the initiative. In his account in a social network, he noted that the resort cities and municipalities should study this experience and organize “winter beaches.” He also emphasized that although the summer season had officially ended on 1 November, the number of holidaymakers and tourists is still very high. “We are trying to provide comfortable conditions for year-round recreation, which is why the mayors of some resort sites have begun to develop low-season recreation zones. Benches, pavilions and wooden decks are being installed, so that our guests can have a comfortable and good time at the coast, breathe the sea air, and admire the landscapes. I am confident that such places will be popular both with the tourists and local people,” he wrote.
