Attention to Be Drawn to Children’s Camps

Krasnodar, 11 November. The Children’s Camps Association has reportedly been founded in Krasnodar krai. 

The constituent assembly of the new organization was held last week in Krasnodar. 

Speaking at the assembly, Minister of Labour and Social Development Sergei Garkusha noted that the establishment of the Association had been caused by the new conditions arisen due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is worth reminding that this year most of the children’s country retreats had stayed closed during the summer season. The crisis caused by the pandemic had taken many children’s health resorts to a verge of bankruptcy. The new professional association is intended to consolidate the proposals to save the industry from collapse. 

“We understand perfectly well that the children’s recreation industry will not be able to survive without the region’s support. Governor Veniamin Kondratiev has signed a resolution on nullification of the property tax for children’s retreats. I am confident that the Legislative Assembly will back this initiative at the nearest session. It will allow to significantly slacken the financial burden of children’s country retreats,” Mr. Garkusha stated.
