Best Police Officers Get Awarded

Krasnodar, 10 November. The best police officers were reportedly awarded in Krasnodar on the occasion of the Day of Police Officers. 

The solemn gathering was held with due consideration of all constraints; most participants took part in it remotely. Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev thanked the police officers for their everyday work. 

He noted the huge burden borne by law enforcement officers in our multiethnic, dynamically developing resort region. It became even harder during the pandemic period, he stressed.

Last spring, about three thousand police officers were maintaining order in the streets, with a thousand more serving in watchdog squads. 

“The society is making us highest demands. People must be confident that police officers will always help and support them,” Vladimir Andreyev, Head of the Chief Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Krasnodar krai, said. “Under the coronavirus conditions, we managed to ensure safety of the resort season and the voting for the Constitutional amendments and on the single voting day. Over 24,000 crimes have been detected.”
