Krasnodar, 1 October. The number of Kuban inhabitants that wished to take a car credit grew by 11.2% in August, the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBCH) released.
The number of credits for new and second-hand cars issued during that period reached 3,200, which made the Kuban region the nation’s seventh biggest car credit issuer. In particular, it was outstripped by Moscow City, Moscow oblast, and St. Petersburg, where the number of car credits reached 5,000.
“Following the ‘gap’ in April and May, the number of car credits issued in summer, especially in July, was quite high,” Aleksandr Vikulin, NBCH General Director, commented. “Such activity was caused by the realization of deferred demand for cars that had been shaped last spring, during the ‘tough’ quarantine activities. However the speed of issuance of car credits slowed down in August, it still remained at a quite high level of the same period of last year.”
