Krasnodar, 22 September. Nearly 14,000 cases of land misuse have been revealed in the Kuban region, Vice Governor Sergei Boldin reported speaking at a meeting dedicated to disclosure and mitigation of legal violations with municipally and privately owned land parcels.
Because of the misuse of the lands recorded by the Federal Agency for State Registration, the regional budget is receiving millions of roubles less than due in taxes.
It is worth mentioning that special workgroups were formed at local self-governing bodies of Krasnodar krai back in 2018 to perform total inspections of land parcels in settlements.
Over the past two years, they did 3.6 million inspections, including 989,400 this year. Of the said total number of violations, 11,700 were privately owned lands.
The land users were being duly informed that they must eliminate the violations. If they would fail to do it voluntarily, the issue would be taken to court.
“It is important to urge land users to bring their permitted use into compliance with the rules. Then the cadastre cost of the land parcel and the sum of the land tax will change,” Sergei Boldin noted.
