Krasnodar, 13 August. Two schools and a kindergarten are reportedly being repaired or erected in Korenovsk.
One of the oldest schools in the city, School No. 1 built in 1953, will be expanded by building an annexe for a 400-seat primary school.
The regional press service released that 7.8 million roubles have been allocated to draw the design of the new premises by the local budget. As soon as the design is ready, it will be included into the regional program for 2022–2023.
Presently, the overcrowding rate of the school is equal to 50.4%. The very building of the school also needs repair.
Apart from that, a new 550-seat school is being built in Korenovsk in the framework of the national project “Education”. The construction is to be completed by mid-November, and in January 2021 it will have to be open.
The construction of a 325-seat kindergarten should also be completed by the end of the year, but at the moment the schedule delay exceeds a month: the contractor is facing difficulties with the fulfilment of the works.
