Krasnodar, 6 August. Over the two years of its work, the regional Industry Development Fund has reportedly issued cheap loans to 72 local industrial companies the total amount of 1.5 billion roubles. 

“The regional Industry Development Fund has become a mighty tool in the Kuban region. In 2018, its capitalisation was 500 million roubles; now it is three times as much. In the nearest three years, we are planning to increase its ‘weight’ to 5 billion roubles,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev noted. He also stressed that due in no small part to the Fund’s activity, the region managed to achieve stable growth of its industry. Some companies made use of this support to survive the hard time; others – to take a leap forward. He said that additionally, about 1 billion roubles of private investments have been invited; tax payments are growing; new jobs are appearing.

Currently, the Fund offers 12 financing programs. Big attention is paid to the priority businesses – light, furniture and machine-building industries; the defence industry also benefits from its support.
