Krasnodar, 5 August. The yearly exports of meat and dairy products in Krasnodar krai have reportedly surpassed the forecasted figures by 15%.
Since the beginning of this year, the total cost of meat and dairy products exported from the region has amounted to USD 24.2 million, which is twice as much as during the same period of 2019.
Commenting on this achievement, Vice Governor Andrei Korobka said that “meat and milk products are on the list of export-oriented goods. They enjoy high demand at international markets, especially canned milk and icecream.”
In Krasnodar krai, six companies are involved in the exports of these products.
The overall plan for the exports of agricultural products from Krasnodar krai in the framework of the national project “International cooperation and export” is more than USD 2.5 billion.
