Krasnodar, 22 July. Over the past five years, the financing of the repair works, improvement of the technical and logistical support and facilities of cultural establishments has grown by 37 times. The money was sent to 400 cultural facilities throughout the region.
According to the regional Ministry of Culture, the limit of financing in 2015 had been only 15 million roubles – the sum sufficient to repair five rural clubs only. Since 2016, the volumes of subsidies have been steadily growing. Since 2019, Krasnodar region has become a participant of the national project “Culture.” At the expense of the regional program and the national project, the financing coverage grew to 398 million roubles in 2019, which enabled to repair and fit out 86 cultural establishments in different rayons of the region.
“This year, the total sum has exceeded 549 million roubles, which will be used to repair 55 Houses of Culture and clubs, seven children’s Art Schools, the City Theatre in Anapa, and the central library in Starominsky rayon. Eleven facilities will be repaired in the framework if the national project “Culture.” The technical and logistical basis will be improved in 83 cultural institutions.
