Krasnodar, 10 June. Last weekend, over a thousand summer cafés and restaurants opened in Krasnodar krai, most of them – in resort cities.
Thereby the ban on their activity, effected on March 31 due to the spread of the coronavirus infection, was partially lifted. Until now, cafés and restaurants had been allowed only to render takeaway service.
Now they received the permission to open their summer verandahs and terraces, however banquets and hookah smoking remained under a ban.
“Of more than 8,500 cafés and restaurants registered in Krasnodar krai, 1,115, or 13%, will resume work. The facilities without summer verandahs and terraces will continue rendering takeaway services,” Roman Kurinny, Head of the regional Department for Consumer Sphere and Regulation of Alcohol market, commented.
According to the Department, 214 food courts resumed work in Sochi, 162 – in Gelendzhik, 55 – in Anapa, and 50 – in Tuapse rayon.
