Krasnodar, 4 June. The construction of bank protection structures has reportedly begun along the Pshekha river in Apsheronsk rayon.
The progress of the works was discussed during the video conference held last week in Krasnodar and chaired by Vice Governor Sergei Boldin.
In 2017, during his visit to Apsheronsk, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev inspected a sector of the Pshekha bank. Local dwellers then complained that the left bank was collapsing, putting their houses at risk. Mr. Kondratiev ordered that a 300-metre concrete bank protection structure should be erected on the site to protect it from washing away.
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources Gennadi Stolbov reported that governmental contracts on construction and installation works to the total amount of 31.2 million roubles were concluded in April and May, 2020. The contractor has proceeded to work.
Another item discussed at the conference was the capital repairs of the dam on the Ubin river in Seversky rayon.
