Opening the session, Vice Chairperson Sergei Altukhov made it clear that the proposed changes were caused by the necessity of improving the investment climate in the region. “Attraction of investments is one of the strategic tasks for the development of the region, which is why the draft bill provides for the abatements on the corporate property tax for the participants of the national project “Labour productivity and employment support,” for the organisations that concluded concession agreements with municipalities in the cultural or sport spheres,” he announced.
Apart from that, the reduced rates for the corporate property tax may be introduced for the organisations involved in the congress and exhibition activity.
The deputies of the regional Legislative Assembly approved the bill in principle, but submitted a series of amendments to be approved by the second reading of the bill.
