Krasnodar, 6 May. Since recently, the ambulance service in Krasnodar krai is reportedly equipped with an electronic dispatcher system. Now 589 tablet computers are at disposal of the mobile teams, reducing the risk of distorting or losing the information about the patients with suspected coronavirus infection.
A case record bound with geolocation is filed for every call, allowing to accumulate, process and transmit data on the patients hospitalised with suspected coronavirus in a real-time environment.
“All data exchanges are carried out along secure links. All dispatcher offices are connected to the central server, where information on the inand-out registers, current number, medical equipment, call queues and their priority levels is processed online,” the regional Ministry of Public Health explained.
Every year, the regional ambulance service accomplishes about 2 million attendances. Now, during the pandemic, the number of attendances of COVID-19-suspected patients reaches 50 a day, and the medical staff’s working shifts may last for 12 hours.
