Krasnodar, 10 April. Eleven new cases of coronavirus infection (6 men and 5 women, aged between 6 and 59) have been proved in Krasnodar krai, the regional Emergency Centre announced on Monday, April 6.
Thereby, the infection has been officially proved in 50 patients.
Ten of the recently registered cases originated abroad, and one happened due to the contacts. Ten patients had reportedly returned to the Kuban region from Czechia, the UAE, Turkey, the USA, Brazil and France. The patients reside in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar, Sochi and Gelendzhik.
So far, there have been no lethal cases related to coronavirus in Krasnodar krai. Nine patients have recovered and have been discharged from hospital.
At the same time, according to the regional Ministry of Health Care, five patients are staying in hospital in serious condition – two in the infectious diseases hospital in Krasnodar, two in the same hospital in Novorossiysk, and one in the Labinsk Central Rayon Hospital.
By now, 15,928 laboratory tests have been performed in the region. Seventy-eight patients are isolated in the observatories: 13 in Krasnodar, and 65 in Sochi.
