The oil transshipment volumes reportedly grew by 789,000 tons at the background of increased oil turnover at other Russian seaports. Transshipment of liquid bulk cargos in the port of Novorossiysk grew by 10% compared with January 2019, amounting to 869,000 tons.
The transshipment of crude oil also grew in January, amounting to 6.3 million tons. The transshipment of crude iron ore grew by 68.8%, amounting to 339,000 tons; of coal – by 37.3% (to 187,000 tons); of chemical cargos – by 2.6 times, or 63,000 tons. At the same time, the transshipment of raw sugar fell to 5,000 tons only.
