Krasnodar, 1 March. The conditions of granting the regional maternal capital have reportedly changed in Krasnodar province in 2020.
Last year, the payable sum was 124,600 roubles; this year, it is 129,300 roubles.
The beneficiaries may spend this money to improve their housing conditions, education of their children, and installation of gas services in their houses in Krasnodar province.
“If earlier it could be done only after a child had reached three years, now, since the beginning of 2020, this money can be used immediately after the birth of a child to repay the mortgage loan,” Natalia Rolik, Head of the Department of targeted benefits and subsidies, announced. “After the birth of the third and the following children, the maternal capital is paid from the regional budget. The sum allocated for that in 2019 was 419 million roubles; this year, it will exceed 900 million roubles.”
Regional maternal capital has been dispensed since 2014. Since then, over 15,000 Kuban families have made use of it.
