Krasnodar, 14 January – Yug Times. Krasnodar is reportedly taking the lead among the regional centres of the Southern Federal District in the rating of socio-economic development.
According to the results of nine months of 2019 announced by the city Department of Economy, Krasnodar outstripped Rostov-on-Don and Volgograd by more than 2.5 times in a number of key indices of economic activity, for instance, the volume of paid services rendered to inhabitants by large and midsize companies (100.6 billion roubles vs. 45.6 billion roubles in Rostov). Besides, Krasnodar showed the highest level of budget revenues - 23.7 billion roubles.
As for the volume of own-produced goods, works and services rendered by large and midsize companies, Krasnodar (60.7 billion roubles) left all other regional centres fat behind. Rostov which came the second showed 23 billion roubles.
On the whole, Krasnodar was the leader in 16 activities out of 34, Rostov - in 5, Maikop - in 4, Volgograd - in 3, and Elista and Astrakhan - in 2 activities.
