Krasnodar, 9 January – Yug Times. Since the beginning of 2020, the resort fee has been expanded to 11 towns and cities of the Krasnodar region.
The initial eight resorts located in five municipalities – Anapa, Gelendzhik, Goriachy Kluch, Sochi, Shepsi, Dzhubga, Novomikhailovsky, and Nebug – were supplemented with Yeisk, Dolzhanskaya and Tenginka.
The daily amount of the fee will be 10 roubles. The money will be spent for landscaping and development activities in these settlements. In 2019, the new fee gave 225 million roubles to the regional budget, which was by 75 million roubles more than initially planned.
Sochi received the biggest sum – about 160 million roubles that are to be spent in 2020 to upgrade the city’s seafront. Gelendzhik collected 23 million roubles in 2019; Anapa got over 61 million roubles.
