Krasnodar, 2 August – Yug Times. Four secondary schools in Krasnodar and Sochi will reportedly be reorganised into resource centres for the Russian Academy of Science by 1 September.
Lyceum No. 90, Gymnasiums Nos. 36 and 69 in Krasnodar, and Gymnasium No. 8 in Sochi are inviting teachers of higher schools to choose gifted pupils. In Governor Veniamin Kondratiev’s opinion, this would be a unique opportunity to gather talented children and give them a possibility to realise their potential.
At a meeting with Kuban Government, President of the Russian Academy of Science Aleksandr Sergeyev was quoted as saying that it is necessary to pay attention to rural schools whose students are better adapted to agricultural activity.
“For the experiment, we are choosing schools in several regions to launch the laboratories that will show all stages of modern plant growing, and robotics in agriculture,” Sergeyev added.
