Krasnodar, 26 July – Yug Times. ‘Kuban Early Potato’ has reportedly been registered as a brand in Krasnodar province.
The registration number will soon appear in the Rospatent’s open registers.
The brand registered as a geographical appellation is owned by a private potato-grower from Kalininsky rayon.
Now the turn is for strawberry. In the near future, Krasnodar province plans to register this brand with the Rospatent.
“In April 2019, ‘Kuban Apples’ got registered as a brand,” Head of the regional Department of Consumer Sphere Roman Kurinny reminded.
“Now the national Ministry of Agriculture is checking the package of documents submitted by a producer of Krasnodar strawberry. Doing so, we protect our consumers and producers from falsifications, support the production of traditional goods and develop agriculture.”
