Krasnodar, 25 July – Yug Times. The Group of Companies Stihl is reportedly considering a possibility of locating production facilities in Krasnodar province.
The prospects of cooperation of the German company with our region were discussed last week by Hans Peter Stihl, general partner of STIHL Holding AG & Co. KG and honorary chairman of the STIHL Advisory and Supervisory Boards, and Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev.
“We are interested in organising our manufacturing facilities here,” Mr. Stihl said. “I closely follow the developments of the market, and I can see that [businesspeople] could and should invest in Russia.”
In his turn, Mr. Kondratiev noted that over the five years of Stihl’s logistics centre’s work in the region (it produces power tools), it has become a trustworthy partner for the Kuban region.
“Krasnodar province may offer a wide complex of support measures for investors – tax preferences and subsidies, reimbursement of expenses borne at the construction stage, and complete accompaniment of the investment project. What is more, there is a stable demand for power tools here in Kuban,” he said.
