Krasnodar, 26 June – Yug Times. The amendments to the federal law will provide for the introduction of a new mechanism of construction of long-delayed projects.
In a recent meeting between the initiative group of participants in shared-equity construction project, Yug-Stroika LLC, and First Deputy Governor Andrei Alekseyenko, it was discussed how the new law should help Kuban residents receive their long-awaited flats.
The participants of the meeting discussed such unfinished residential projects as Mir, Luch, and Zaria in Krasnodar – altogether, ten apartment complexes and four underground parkings.
Presently, several criminal cases have been opened against the developer – Yug-Stroika, which itself is undergoing a bankruptcy procedure.
“The investors have twice abandoned these housing compounds – they are not interested in them from the business viewpoint, and what is more they need huge investments at the construction stage,” Mr. Alekseyenko explained. “Now a real way-out has appeared – the State Duma has adopted in the first reading amendments to the Federal Law No. 214, providing for the establishment of a special fund that will make it possible to complete suchlike projects.”
