The length of the new road sector will be 18.9 km; the target speed – 1 20 km/h. The detour will begin at the 59th km of the A-290 highway and near the villages of Tsybanobalka and Piatikhatki, and it will end at the 71st km.
The new road will be cons tructed in the context of a single transport corridor to join the M-4 Don highway, the Crimean bridge over the Strait of Kerch, and the Crimean peninsula.
It will become an alternative for the sector currently laid via Anapa, and relieve the city’s roads from transit vehicles.
The project also provides for the cons truction of flyovers, multi-level exits, bridges and overpasses, as well as laying of culvert aqueducts, voltage transforming plants, local water treatment facilities and busstops.
