Krasnodar, 10 April – Yug Times. A possibility of introduction of the Smart City system was reportedly discussed in Krasnodar last week.
Representatives of IT companies, scientific society, business circles and public organisations together with municipal officers discussed the possibilities and directions for the application of new digital technologies in the regional capital.
Ernst & Young, the main developer of the Strategy of socioeconomic development of Krasnodar for the period until 2030, also takes part in the development of the draft program. Yevgeni Panasenko from Ernst & Young says that this program is needed to make Krasnodar understandable for its inhabitants, visitors and investors.
“It is necessary to improve the efficiency of management of urban processes and of the everyday life of an average town-dweller,” he says. “For instance, currently over 90% of the services are paid with the use of online-systems, and people have already understood that this is a way to save their time, force and money”.
