Krasnodar, 4 April – Yug Times. Representatives of several major construction companies operating in the Kuban region have publicly explained the situation in the construction industry.
They asked holders of shared construction projects not to demand everything and at once. The construction companies do want to help them, but there are a bunch of objective factors that affect the terms. For instance, the law “On participation in shared construction projects” bans the constructors to use the money received from the flat owners to cover other distressed projects, calling this misapplication of resources. Unfinished construction projects may often lack technical specifications needed to get connected to service lines – and this may be as much as a third of the total cost of the project. Since the beginning of 2018, 11 ‘distressed high-rise projects’ have been commissioned in the region; 27 other projects are underway. The regional authorities plan to restore the rights of over 3,200 co-owners of 72 construction projects by 2021.
