Krasnodar, 2 April – Yug Times. The reconstruction of Turgenev street in Krasnodar – namely, a 800-metre long sector between Gagarin and Atarbekov streets – is nearing completion.
Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov considers this work an example of an umbrella approach to road mending.
“The most difficult sectors have been repaired; they were built anew and the service lines were fully replaced,” he stated. “The last 800 metres will be repaired so that the townspeople get the renovated Turgenev street this year.” Deputy Mayor Artem Doronin noted that the repair works of the roadway will be performed at night not to disturb the road traffic. The works began on March 29 and will be completed on August 31. They will include replacement of the roadway and pavement surfaces, kerbs, ramps and parking places.
