Krasnodar, 21 February – Yug Times. In the context of the Russian Investment Forum, the Kuban Credit Bank signed a cooperation agreement with Venera the autonomous noncommercial organisation of all-round public development, support, assistance and promotion.

The cooperation of the two organisations will reportedly be aimed at improving the life quality of senior citizens living in the Krasnodar region. The agreement will be implemented in the context of the socially wholesome program, Pension as Second Life, which is an important link in social adaptation of elderly people and allows to create single information space for Kuban inhabitants aged 50+ with the help of the Internet portal Пенсия23.рф.

The program is meant to show all advantages and opportunities granted to pensioners by various structures, including governmental offices. The said website has information on many issues that may be useful for senior citizens: perks; aids and advice; legal, social and psychological support; information on education and job placements; activities for elderly people and other possible spheres for their selfactualisation.

“This Internet portal is a unique project for the Krasnodar region,” Venera Director General Irina Petrova said. “The single informational regional portal was invented for elderly citizens and received endorsement of the regional administration. It was officially launched on December 1, 2018. Over the past month, more than 2,000 elderly visitors made use of it.” She also said that the launch of the website had been announced to elderly inhabitants of 16 municipalities of the Krasnodar region. And people quickly became familiar with the portal.

“We are thankful to Kuban Credit Bank for their support of our project. We also saw how important it is for elderly people,” Irina Petrova noted. The Kuban Credit Bank is known for its activities aimed at improvement of the people’s financial competence.

“Signing of the cooperation agreement in the framework of the Pension as Second Life program marks the continuation of the work with elderly people in which our bank has been engaged since 2002,” Kuban Credit Bank Vice CEO Aleksandr Kalinich stressed. “In 2014, we adopted the policy, Caring for Elder Generation, owing to which our relations with pensioners proceeded to a new level. The Bank closely cooperates with veteran associations, and sponsors events targeted at elderly people. We run regular courses of financial and computer literacy. Speaking of intermediate results, I can say that last year 1,500 seniors took an educational course in the framework of this program.”

The agreement with the bank will allow the Internet portal Пенсия23. рф to expand its opportunities. Regional Minister of Labour and Social Development Sergei Garkusha was quoted as saying that such projects are extremely important today.
