Krasnodar, 19 February – Yug Times. Aleksei Gedz has been appointed acting head of the Ust-Labinst district. What will this appointment change? The process of permanent changes in the personnel of municipal offices continues in the Krasnodar region. Now it’s the turn of Ust-Labinsk. The new acting head is a professional with a big experience in power and business. What does he have in store for local inhabitants?
At the extraordinary session of the municipal Council of Deputies, Director of the Department for Home Policy of the regional administration Galina Moskaleva presented Aleksei Gedz as the appointed acting municipal head. She noted that the appointee should pay peculiar attention to social infrastructure, which is in dire need of an upgrade. The second most important task is development of the agricultural sector.
When asked about the new municipal leader, the local deputy Vladimir Tarasenko said that he assesses positively his appointment: “We had been cooperating for many years: I was director of a major local company, and Aleksei [Gedz] headed the sugar-mill. This experience will come in useful one day, I’m sure. Another important fact is Gedz’s participation in the exhibition of agricultural machinery Golden Field [held annually in Ust-Labinsk] as deputy regional Minister of Agriculture – it means that he knows most local businesspeople.” President of the regional Centre for Applied Social and Political Science Gennadi Podlesny also assesses positively this appointment.
“This is an apt nomination,” he says. “Aleksei Gedz is not a stranger for the [Ust-Labinsk] district; he knows the municipality perfectly well, and has deserved authority with local people.”
