Krasnodar, 6 February – Yug Times. By February 15, Kuban municipalities will have to develop rules of fighting with unlawfully built houses.
Speaking at a regional conference in Sochi, First Deputy Governor Andrei Alekseyenko noted that on the whole, the situation with unauthorised construction activities in the Krasnodar region may be described as ‘controlled’. He reminded that 54 unlawfully built houses are to be taken down by the end of the year. The offenders that would be ignoring the terms would be urged to pay 10,000 roubles for every day of delay.
Mr. Alekseyenko stressed that each municipality must develop a clear procedure - from identification of an unauthorised construction project up to its demolition.
“It is important that every municipality adopt an ordinance approving the procedure of actions meant to prevent and fight with unlawful construction activity,” he said.
