Krasnodar, 16 January – Yug Times. The city of Krasnodar tops the list of the biggest cities of the Southern Federal District in terms of attracted investment and retail turnover.
The city Department for Economic Development, Investment and External Relations has reportedly analysed the economic development of South Russia’s regional capitals during nine months of 2018 according to 34 indices. Krasnodar took the lead in 16 of them. For instance, it showed the best result on the volume of investments in fixed capital of large and midsize businesses – 68.8 billion roubles.
Krasnodar also topped the list of cities with the highest retail turnover of large and midsize companies – 152.7 billion roubles, and with the highest per capita retail turnover – 154,300 roubles. Krasnodar also outpaced its neighbours on the volume of paid services rendered to population by large and midsize companies – 64.6 billion roubles in total and 65,300 roubles per capita.
