Krasnodar, 4 December – Yug Times. The awarding ceremony of the winners of the 15th regional contest of tourism industry “Resort Olympus – 2018” was reportedly attended by power executives and business representatives.
Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev greeted the participants of the ceremony.
“My sincere greetings – the resorts of the Krasnodar region have beaten a new record,” he was quoted as saying addressing the audience. “This year, Kuban has already received 16.5 million tourists. Owing to your industrious work, this year our region was acknowledged Russia’s champion in the development of domestic tourism.”
Mr. Kondratiev also noted that the set of tourist services is rapidly growing and developing, “so our resorts must remain competitive. It is important not just to make a good impression but to turn every holidaymaker into a loyal tourist.” In his turn, Legal Assembly Chairman Yuri Burlachko stressed that the Krasnodar resorts have remained in high demand because of the high-quality service and flexible pricing policy.
“This means huge work of the industry,” he stated. “And the best representatives of the region’s resort industry are deservedly getting their awards today.”
Over 50 laureates were rewarded as the winners of the contest.
