Krasnodar, 21 November – Yug Times. The Krasnodar city administration will reportedly buy a school and two kindergartens into the municipal property.
The total sum of 998.5 million roubles has already been assigned from the regional budget, according to the amendments to the city budget adopted at the recent extraordinary session of the City Duma. The money will be spent to acquire a school for 1,550 students at Baibakov street, and kindergartens at Obraztsov and Dzierżyński streets. “It’s a good deal, and we are finishing this year with good results,” mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov noted. “Owing to the support of the regional administration, [the city of Krasnodar] is showing one of the best rates of social construction works nationwide. I reckon that the ‘social conveyor’, or the construction of schools and kindergartens, will keep the gathered momentum going.”
The mayor’s office has also arranged with the company that built the school at Baibakov street at its cost to invest in another school to be built in the Molodezhny neighbourhood.
