Krasnodar, 20 November – Yug Times. Last week, Kuban governor Veniamin Kondratiev made a working visit to the Slaviansk district to check the fulfilment of his previously made instructions.
During his previous visit, Mt. Kondratiev has ordered to repair the building of the arts school in Slaviansk-on-Kuban built in 1913.
“The works have begun; 15 million roubles have been allocated for that purpose from the regional budget; the repairs will include an overhaul of the foundations, roof and walls,” vice governor Anna Minkova announced. “Thirty million roubles are to be allocated next year to complete the repair works.”
The reconstruction of the Yunost Sports Centre was another project supervised by the regional leader: the building had never seen repair works over the 30 years of its maintenance.
Following Mr. Kondratiev’s previous visit to Slaviansk, the project was included in the program of local socio-economic and innovative development. Ms. Minkova stressed that the sports centre must be commissioned by the end of this year.
