Krasnodar, 13 November – Yug Times. About 11,000 persons that invested their money in the construction projects that appeared problematic will reportedly receive flats in Krasnodar by the end of this year.

last week, Rostov-on-Don played host to a session of the General Prosecutor’s Department in the Southern Federal District. The session was chaired by deputy Prosecutor General Andrei Kikot. “Now we can state that the situation with the deceived shareholders of high-rise constructions has stabilised in the Krasnodar region,” Kuban governor Veniamin Kondratiev stressed. “There exists an algorithm of legal actions – but there are construction projects, whose problems must be resolved ‘in manual mode’ by selecting a [new] investor [for them].”

Altogether, the rights of 40,000 flats co-owners became restored in the Krasnodar region by the beginning of November. One hundred and seventy six blocks of flats were put ito operation. The participants of the session analysed the regional law “On additional measures to protect shareholders’ rights” adopted in April 2018. They concluded that the use of the mechanisms stipulated in this law helped find solutions for several ‘problematic’ construction projects.
