Krasnodar, 30 October – Yug Times. The delegation of the Krasnodar region has reportedly visited Beijing, China. On October 22 - 26, the regional Development Fund, supported by the State Duma, the Russian - Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development, the All-Russia Union of Noncommercial Organizations and the Krasnodar regional branch of the Business Russia association presented a Kuban exposition in the People’s Republic of China.
Ilya Shakalov, General Director of the regional Development Fund, presented the welcoming address of the MP Vladimir Yevlanov to Olga Melnikova, Director of the Russian Cultural Centre in Beijing, Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in China. The participants of the delegation took part in the roundtable together with Chinese business circles and public organizations. The discussion was dedicated to cooperation in food industry, machine building, agriculture, construction, real estate, hotel and restaurant business, and spa and resort activities. The newly established bilateral contacts will intensify the relations between the two parties, the members of the delegation stated.
“The aim of the business program was to develop the humanitarian, cultural, foreign trade and touristic relations,” Mr. Shakalov stated. “They will contribute to the economic development of our regions, initiation of new interesting projects and conditions to develop our mutually beneficial cooperation.”
