Krasnodar, 11 October – Yug Times. The Krasnodar region has reportedly been granted the highest grade in quality management of regional financial streams. The high grade was given by the federal Ministry of Finance that every year divides all Russian regions into three groups based on the complex estimation of budget planning and performance, public debt and state ownership management, transparency of the budgetary process and fulfilment of Presidential decrees. The regions may be assessed as having high, due and low quality managements. By the 2017 results, Kuban was put on the list of regions that showed high quality management of finances.
Commenting on the news, Vice Governor Igor Galas mentioned that the high grade was given to Kuban because of a big and purposeful work aimed at mobilisation of budget revenues of all levels, efficient public debt management, and increase of efficiency of the regional budget’s expenditures.
“We continue to perfect the regional financial management,” Mr. Galas said. “We pay much attention to support the municipalities by using such stimulating mechanisms as inter-budget transfers.”
