Krasnodar, 27 September – Yug Times. “Industrial tourism is an efficient marketing tool to promote companies and their products, and to popularise working professions among Kuban schoolchildren,” Head of the regional Department for Industrial Policy Ivan Kulikov was quoted as saying, speaking at a meeting of top managers of leading industrial companies, scientific and public organisations, and industrial development institutions held last week in Krasnodar.
Mr. Kulikov announced that the Department will support machine-building companies to organise industrial tours and vocational counselling.
Up to now, several major companies operating in the region have already had suchlike experience, which is to be used for upcoming activities. Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev also supported such tours, when speaking at a festival of children and youth scientific and technical work. He emphasised that such tours will help teenagers choose their future professions.
