Krasnodar, 26 September – Yug Times. An interesting art object was opened in Krasnodar on the eve of the annual Day of the City.
Philip Morris Kuban presented a 13 x 1.6 m I Love You, Krasnodar! inscription to the city in honour of its 225th anniversary. As usual, the word ‘love’ was replaced with a heart. The letters and the heart were made with the use of elements of the region’s brand. The sign was unveiled in Aleksandrovsky Boulevard, close to the Aurora cinema.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Krasnodar Vice Mayor Yevgeni Zimenko said that the new art object will become “another sight of our city, another touch to its positive image.”
Vladislav Kalashnikov, Director Philip Morris Izhora and Philip Morris Kuban, stressed that his company has been working in Krasnodar for 25 years. It was the first overseas investor in the region, and since then jointly with the city and regional authorities it has implemented many charity and public projects. The I Love You, Krasnodar sign is another proof of this fact, said Mr. Kalashnikov.
The participants of the opening ceremony expressed their belief that the new art object will become a place of attraction for numerous selfie lovers.
