Krasnodar, 15 June – Yug Times. On June 7, the Krasnodar regional Civic Chamber, the Southern regional committee of the European Business Association (EBA), the Agency for Investments and International Cooperation, and The Yug Times weekly newspaper held a conference “Sustainable development of territories: contemporary requirements to human capital management.” The event was held in the framework of the program “Time for new strategies - 2018” and sponsored by the Centre Invest Bank (the strategic partner), Philip Morris Kuban (the platinum partner) and the Krasnodar regional branch of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (the silver partner).
“Over the past several years, the “Time for new strategies - 2018” program has been gathering at its conferences and roundtables an audience prepared to discuss the topical development problems of the Krasnodar region,” Oleg Zharko, Chair of the EBA Southern regional committee, Danone Russia Regional Director, said in his opening speech.
Reportedly, the entire event was dedicated to discussion of the requirements to human capital management.
In his turn, Aleksandr Polidi, Chair of the Committee for Economy, Industrial and Agricultural Sector, Complex Development of Rural Territories, and Support of Small and Midsize Business of the regional Civic Chamber, drew the participants’ attention to the following two ‘anchors’: sustainable development of territories, which means ability of the economy to cope with new challenges; and human capital, which is one of the most important factors of competitiveness of any economy.
Diana Lipinskaya, Director of the regional branch of the Centre Invest Bank, called upon to pay attention to the issue of cooperation with educational institutions.
“Success of a company depends on how competent its personnel policy is,” she stressed.
As for CLAAS Krasnodar, the new stage of its activity in the region is training and subsequent employing college graduates as part of its personnel policy.
