Krasnodar, 9 June – Yug Times. On May 30, Novokubansk hosted the first municipal business activity, attended by representatives of the ten territories of the region’s Eastern Economic Zone.
In many respects, it was a trial – nothing of the kind had ever been held in the Kuban region before. That is why, it was a risk: will the forum be a success? But all apprehensions proved vain – the fact was acknowledged by both businessmen and municipal officials. Closing the event, Aleksandr Gomodin, Head of the Novokubansk Municipality and chief organiser and ideologist of the forum, addressed the participants to announce its results.
" Novokubansk summoned federal and regional executives, municipal heads, company managers, small and midsize entrepreneurs, and known academics – altogether more than 450 registered participants.
"I reckon that the work of the forum and our discussions held at the roundtables let us not only exchange our experiences but arrive at a new level of interaction – to be able to jointly get down to the solution of ambitious tasks, strengthen the inter-municipal cooperation, and score a success.
"The Novokubansk rayon is open to a closest possible partnership".
