Krasnodar, 8 June – Yug Times. The Krasnodar region will become one of the major sites of the upcoming Football World Cup. The city of Krasnodar will become the training base for Spain’s national team; Sochi – for Brazilian and Polish teams. The Danish athletes will be based in Anapa; the footballers from Iceland and Sweden – in Gelendzhik. The first participant of the World Cup, the Spanish national team, is to arrive at Kuban on June 7.
By now, all stadiums, training bases and accommodations are fully ready to receive the participants of the Mundial. The transport issues have also been well thought of. All sites are equipped with personal identification systems, CCTV cameras, and car examination devices.
The Fisht Stadium in Sochi and all training sites have passed the classification exams and have been issued special security passports. New training sites have been commissioned in Adler, Anapa and Gelendzhik.
