Krasnodar, 16 May – Yug Times. Every master who is inclined to irony and humor dreams to play in Master and Margarita - the embodiment of genius Mickhail Bulgakov.
Those who know the actor of Krasnodar Youth Theater Aleksey Alekseev, often point out the delicate nature of this honored artist. Larisa Malevannaya admits that in that theater Aleksey was almost the only person who didn’t challenge her, but accepted unconditionally. “We have been growing professionally together all along, and Aleksey, despite all of his doubts and principles, doesn’t belong to this kind of actor, who can’t help irritating everybody before they play their role”- says Larisa Ivanovna.
He has been dreaming to conceive the mystery and genius of Mickhail Bulgakov. In «Master and Margarita» Aleksey is attracted by the role of Koroviev, the character from Voland’s gang, who can’t help joking incessantly. Such pecularity and passion for irony, have always been a part of the actor’s nature. Despite his strongly independent character, the actor respects the directors and, as he says, tries not to fight with them.
“I’m a demanded actor,- he says, but sometimes I feel like playing for my own pleasure. But for better or worse, often everything depends on the director’s view and other things”. Aleksey Alekseev keeps this inexplicable spark and creative longing, he has enough talent and mastery to keep taking the most complicated roles as long as they are there.
