Krasnodar, 3 April – Yug Times. The Russian Investigation Committee continues to investigate the fire that happened at the Zimniaya Vishnia (Winter Cherry) shopping and leisure mall in Kemerovo on March 25.
A new suit on abuse of office was filed against Tanzilia Komkova, director of the State Construction Supervision Inspection in the Kemerovo region. According to the investigators, she had not taken measures to put a stop to the activities of the mall erected without official permission. Komkova was detained and is being checked for corrupted activity.
Meantime, General Director of the Kemerovo Confectionary Factory Yulia Bogdanova was detained on the grounds of the main criminal investigation. She is being accused of renting the premises of the factory for trading purposes without caring to take remedial actions on the drawbacks identified during numerous inspections of the fire safety of the building.
