Krasnodar, 21 March – Yug Times. Anapa will reportedly become the venue of the new technopolis Era specialized in developments for the Russian Military Ministry.
The project of the new military innovation centre was presented to President Vladimir Putin in February. According to the concept, the concept will be a specialized research and production complex equipped with laboratories and engineering centres engaged in the development of products ordered by the Russian defence-industrial sector.
The technopolis will be built at Pionersky Prospect, on the site of Desantnik (Paratrooper), a spa formerly owned by Ministry of Defence.
The development of the project will consist of two stages. During the first stage, in 2017-2018, the management bodies and the personnel of the new centre will be formed and the research directions determined. At the second stage (2019-2020), representative offices of defence companies, laboratories and engineering centres will be located in Anapa.
