Krasnodar, 19 January – Yug Times. In 2018, Kuban will continue to take part in the national project of landscaping of public zones.
Thankful to the program “Formation of comfortable urban environment”, a number courtyards and public gardens in 30 municipalities will be landscaped, stated the participants of a conference held in Moscow last week under the chairmanship of Russian Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Mikhail Men.
The Kuban delegation consisted of Vice Governors Anatoli Voronovsky and Aleksei Kopaigorodsky, regional Minister of Fuel-Energy Sector and Housing and Communal Services Aleksandr Voloshin, and Deputy Chairman of the regional Legislative Assembly Nikolai Gritsenko.
It was announced that one of the main conditions needed to take part in the program would be to conduct local referendums to choose the public spaces to be included in the landscaping program. The referendums will reportedly be held in the municipalities with population of more than 20,000.
