Krasnodar, 21 November – Yug Times. The Krasnodar Region authorities together with the experts consider the concept of electric transportation development in the region.
The steps towards introduction of cars using environmentally friendly fuel were discussed at the regional meeting chaired by the Vice Governor Vasily Shvets. The deputy head of the region reminded that three charging stations for electric cars are already operating in Krasnodar and further development of infrastructure is a mechanism for stimulating the interest to this type of transport.
“Such innovations are not just an illustration that the region keeps up with the times, developing modern technologies. This is also the way to attract tourists. This year, the charging stations were already used by the tourists from Europe and Belarus who travelled around our country,” Shvets said.
According to the concept of electric transport development, more than a hundred charging sta-tions will appear in the region by the end of next year. Most of them will be placed in resort towns and along the roads going seaward.
