Cossacks from Throughout Russia Come to Krasnodar

Krasnodar, July 21 – Yug Times. In October, Krasnodar will host a large-scale national event — the first All-Russia forum of Cossack Hosts, announced Kuban Cossack Host Ataman Nikolai Doluda at the Council of Atamans held in the regional capital last week.

The agenda of the forum will also include a session of the Presidential Council on Cossack Affairs.

Ataman Doluda stressed that it is important to consolidate the efforts of all units of the Kuban Cossack Host to get prepared to these significant events.

The forum will reportedly be attended by representatives from all 11 Cossack Hosts. They will discuss the provisions of the draft bill on Cossack Hosts, and determine the ways of their further development.

The idea to hold the forum was announced last December. Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev has backed up the Cossacks’ initiative.
