ЮГ Times. Russian Ministry for Education and Science has initiated changes in universities’ property and finance management. The Kuban State University has become one a pilot organization where the new approaches are being approved.
Last Thursday, the Kuban State University was the venue for a session of the workgroup involved in the development of the financial planning strategy for Russian universities. The event was attended by representatives from 26 leading Russian universities from different corners of the country - from Kaliningrad to the Far East - that serve as pilot organizations in the Ministerial project of uniform planning and budgeting of financial and industrial activity of Russian universities and development of the Single federal computerized information service of financial and industrial management to be introduced on January 1, 2017.
Mikhail Alashkevich, director of the Ministerial Department of Finance, Organization of Budgeting Process, Educational Planning and Economy, who was moderating the meeting noted that the federal university service must become the basis to take managerial decisions and a source of trustworthy information needed to analyze the efficiency of different activities of the university.
